Leisure and Activities Cervinia
The city of Cervinia is located at about 2600 metres of atitude, on the Cervino Mountain that holds it, with heights reaching 4400 metres in altitude.
Cervinia is located in the Valle d'aosta in the Italian Alps. This is a beautiful ski area with picturesque scenery. It is a common place to hold ski competitions, and for this reason, you'll find several hotels, apartments for rent, hostels, rural houses, and more where you'll be able to find accommodation if you choose to spend your ski vacation in this part of the Italy. This place shares a ski resort with nearby Zermatt, another ski station in the Swiss Alps, a city with only 7,000 inhabitants. Its slopes are united to those of Cervinia.
Breuil Cervinia is also a famous ski resort in Europe, and you can even practice here in summer on the Glaciar Plateau Rosa, on slopes that also share with Zermatt, in Switzerland, a locality that is united through its ski lifts. In this resort, there are over 350 km of skiiable slopes, where you will also find a snowpark, numerous restaurants, shops where you can rent equipment, alpine snow sport schools, guides for hiking, etc...
Visiting Cervinia implies visiting Zermatt too, as they are only separated by a border, but united through their ski slopes and ski lifts. They are practically united cities, next to Valtournenche that makes this all a ski triangle, with more than 300 km of skiing between Italy and Switzerland.
